22:30 I actually love what they briefly id with Ganke in ATSV. There was already enough characters and plot to build up and work through, having Ganke be the "guy in the chair" would've added too much to balance. And just because you find out that your best friend is a superhero, doesn't mean you're obligated to be a "guy in the chair". That's like expecting your friends to take part in all your hobbies or for them to automatically have the exact same interest. Ganke definitely thinks it's cool that Miles is Spider-man and he roots for him, but he's not gonna be spending his time listening to police lines and working on tech for Miles. I also feel like it might have been a light jab at the MCU and Ned Leeds in the Spider-man movies. Peter having a best friend who's a "guy in the chair" just doesn't really feel right. It could work if it's handled properly. But having Peter start his career as Spider-man with people supporting him and knowing his identity at every single point makes him feel like he doesn't have room to grow on his own (at least, not until the end of No Way Home). And in all honesty, Ned became less and less important as time went on, with the focus redirecting to Peter and MJ's relationship while Ned was sort of just there with a participation award for being the "guy in the chair" (for just one movie).

Mafex looks like a bootleg figure

One minor thing about what you said about the shoulder joint. Sentinel maybe did it cleaner, but I feel Mafex did better. In a way of adding more emotion on the body. Simple thing as shrugs, to give more of an attitude, and shoulder lowered, to show tiredness or disappointment. I bet that clean joint mechanism, as good as it looks, cannot shrug nor lowers its shoulders. Anyway, been a big fan of your channel since Blackspiderdavid era. Watched all your transformers reviews. Love this segment of "versus" other figures, especially about The Batman on Mafex and SHF. Your attention to details are superb! Just wanted to add on your perspective about the joints. i got a digibook of the back to the future trilogy. i like how well it utilizes space, but you know the thing can't be a permanent housing for the discs.

I would say the Mafex Justice League Batman regular and tactical suit beat out this figure.

I own this figure and it's alright, I don't like the colors and the articulation is just not good. I'm getting the mafex knightfall batman and I think it's gonna be my definitive blue and gray batman

Dude ur so right about the shoulders and what they have done on this fig. I think all they have done is actually just sculpt the shoulder joint and then hollowed it out resulting in a very clean look. Obviously i know they didn't Dremmel the shoulder out to form a kinda cap but u get my drift. Maybe what they have done is really actually hard to mould and I imagine it might be.

The reason the Spider-Ham hammer comes with Miles is because Spider-Ham gives his hammer to him at the end of ITSV

U know what Peeps tend to think and it's not there fault for thinking this, that Mafex and SH Figuarts are this super high end company that produce these immaculate figures. When the real truth is that they are actually only double the price of a Marvel legends. The inflated prices we see are because of them being imports, slightly lower production runs and Sellers putting these huge price increases. The truth is that u can get a Mafex or SHF from Japan for around 50 to 80 bucks depending on the fig but they can still have many QC issues. Sentinal on the other hand is a real high end figure.

Sentinel wins every time. The engineering is far superior. Even with their Peter B figure its soo highly articulated and doesnt feel rigged to where you feel like something will break when you posing.

I think Sentinel actually made a good call with not having the Mafex type of wrist pegs. With how tiny he is, breakages could happen Also, Peter B Parker does have the Mafex style wrist pegs

Mafex looks more accurate to the movie, minus the clothes. Sentinel is the better figure.

The articulation was so bad for this. GLAD McFarlane is getting better over time

Its great that there doing rereales for those who missed out but with this line i feel like there destroying it 🤦🏻‍♂️ it was the awful cell shading on the Frist wave and now bad Paint jobs the colour on this guys face is well off compared to the original.
